“This house is a great location to rent. It is located inside the bay that connects to the sea...It is calm and private. I wanted to do fishing but I didn't bring the fishing poles. I saw the neighbor fishing from the boardwalk. The house is big with beds that can fit 16 peoples. It is clean and roomy. Some reviews I want to leave are: Lots of mosquitos because the bay is not a fast running water and when it is hot and humid without wind the mosquitos developed alot. After sunset the mosquitos attacked us and we went inside, so bring mosquito repellents. The ground bed room needs at least a half bath, but prefer a full bath, so we can do restroom down stairs instead of running up the many-steps-stair way on daytime and bedtime. The half bath on the right side of the main door next to the laundry room need a door latch. It keeps sliding open and falling off of the rail. I booked two times at this location. Will book again on my next occasion. I hope it will be improved what”

“I took my family down to Galveston for a weekend getaway to visit other family. This house was beautiful and has amazing views. I watched the sunset across the water all weekend. The host was very communicative and always a message or phone call away for any concerns. Luckily for us we didn’t have any and my stay was great! ”

“The home was pristine and well stocked with basics: a sponge, dish liquid, a roll of paper towels, coffee, coffee filters, basic spices. Just enough equipment in the kitchen. Soap and toiletries in all bathrooms and clean towels.”

“This is a beautiful home on a bay inlet. The kitchen was well equipped and the home was generally very clean. Spacious bathrooms in every bedroom. The pier/boardwalk are steps away from the home and great for strolling and fishing. Quiet and beautiful location. The couch, pillows and mattresses are aged and should be updated. Same with the washing machine, dryer, and kitchen faucet. The home also lacks a dining table leaving only 3 bar stools for eating in a home that sleeps up to 16. The property management company is very responsive and we enjoyed our stay overall.”
