Very responsive and attentive to our requests.The only negative thing I have to say is, and I know the home is older, but the sofa was ready for the trash bin. All seriousness, it was the most uncomfortable sofa I’ve ever sat on. The cushions’ zippers were all broken and the stuffing was coming out all the time.My suggestion, haul the sofa away and invest in a replacement! It was rough but again, overall, we had a great time!”

“Fit a lot of people and had a stocked kitchen with appliances, dishes, cookware. Had shampoo and lotion, so bring your own conditioner. Outdoor patio was lovely. The inside spiral staircase is scary for littles but blocking it with a kitchen chair worked well.”

“This beautiful home is on the far end of the island which put us out of the rush and we loved it! Great place for large family or generations. Very comfortable and space is well used. Older guests should be aware that accessing the main rooms from inside requires a trip up a small spiral staircase. Not to worry, there are very manageable staircases outside on either side of the house. Don’t let that stop you from renting, it’s a great place”

“Great 3rd birthday for my granddaughter Positive: Very quiet and I was able to watch the sunrise which was amazing. I prepared for mosquitoes which weren’t too bad. My grandbaby was close to the beach and we had a great time and it was plenty of space for our family. Negative: The tub didn’t drain as well and water was warm not hot but we managed it and the toilet seat wasn’t attached at one but we contacted the property manager and made the best of it even with the potty training we got through that with the toilet. We wanted to use the pool but it wasn’t completely clean but it was fine.”

“The kitchen has everything you could need, the house was clean and the air-conditioning was nice and cold. The management was very responsive and always answered promptly. I liked how you are able to drive right onto the beach which was not super crowded. The check out was super easy. Thank you for a great spring break! ”

“We had an awesome stay overall — everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The home had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our time there. There were just two downsides for us. First, the couch was really, really uncomfortable. Like others have mentioned, we ended up taking pillows from the beds we weren’t using just to make it comfortable enough to sit on. Second, the ceiling fans and lights are controlled by the same switch, so you can’t run the fans without the lights being on. If you like air circulation while watching TV or sleeping, definitely bring your own fans. We did after reading other reviews and were glad we came prepared. Other than those two things, everything was great and we had a wonderful stay!”

“Our visit to Galveston was very short due to other plans we had elsewhere for the rest of our weekend, so check-in time was perfect for us as we had half our group to go to Moody Gardens and the other half to Schlitterbahn when we arrived. We then headed to the house at our 4pm check-in to relax a bit and get ready for dinner and the Pier. The balcony is the best place to sit back and enjoy the breeze and my grandson got to enjoy the cowboy pool for a bit and loved it. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay there again and hopefully spend more time to enjoy more of the things we didn’t get to do. The beds were nice and comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 9 adults and a toddler. Jessica was an excellent host, super helpful and answered all my questions very quickly with a super nice attitude!”

“The only issues we had was no grill but it was resolved over night. The bedroom up stairs next to the master has really loud wind noise when the door is closed that can be heard in both the bedroom and living room. A simple vent in the door would resolve that issue. It’s the a/c fan pressure making the noise. ”

“Our stay at this beach house in Jamaica Beach was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with easy to follow instructions from check in to check out, plenty of beds, all the comforts of home plus a few extras like the cowboy pool. We especially loved the spacious deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee and watching the beautiful moon rise in the evenings. The location was ideal - just a very short drive to the beach. The only issue we had was it does get a bit warm downstairs, the spiral staircase is a bit tricky to navigate and were weren't able to leave the ceiling fans on without leaving the lights on. I however HIGHLY recommend this beach house if you are looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price. I would definitely book again!”
