Minor inconveniences of garage doors not working easily, washing machine not functioning well, and you can’t walk right off the yard to the beach. The kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils to work with. Lots of great porch sitting areas. Owner was responsive to messages.”

“This home is lovely...just as described. The proximity to the beach was excellent and views were amazing. The host was very responsive. The house has one TV in the den and one in a bunk room; the host should seriously consider adding tv's to each room especially for adults who want to retire to their rooms to just kick back and relax. Some of the furniture like the beautiful curved sofa at the dining table could be replaced or cleaned. And for the price, the house could be better stocked as far as cooking spices, paper/kitchen towels, cleaning solutions like dishwashing/ dishwasher liquid and powder...things of that nature, games for adults and children, and beach equipment. But overall, the home is very beautiful, sleeps well with plenty of space for multiple families, in a secured neighborhood..well situated to the beach with great ocean views, close to the Strand and pier.”

“Large house situated by the beach. Comfortably accommodated 5 adults and 4 kids. In a gated community with beach access 100 yds down the street. Beautiful views. Bedrooms has nice linens and essentials. Bathrooms had essentials, but nowhere to hang towels. Kitchen had essential pots and pans, a bit light on essential cooking consumables (sugar, oil, creamer), you’ll need to bring these; only drip coffee. Very clean interior, other than stained upholstery from heavy use in the dinning room. Beach chair for adults provided and a pull cart, no umbrella or beach towels.”

“Thank you, Natalie! Your home was just what we needed for the diverse age group of our children and their friends who came down for the weekend. I really appreciated how big the beds were and the generous size of each bedroom. We had the most fun in the kitchen! We made homemade pasta with the pasta maker we brought and every kiddo played a role in the process. The kitchen is large enough to entertain and cook, which was perfect given the cold and windy weather on Saturday. The backyard was the perfect spot for us to put up the Foursquare. And, the private beach, just 100 yards down the street, was very easy to get to with the wagon you left in the garage. Thank you for that! We’re looking forward to returning this summer.”

The beach being close by was a huge plus in two ways. 1. The view from the top balcony was great! 2. I could easily walk to the beach to dip my feet in the water and take a relaxing walk on the beach. The kitchen was stocked with everything I could have needed, and the home was spotless upon my arrival. I am so glad I found this place, and am already in the process of telling friends/family about the place to come back when the weather is warmer!”

Our family was going to take a cruise and the house was only 3 miles from the cruise terminal. Natalie sent us clear instructions on how to get into the house and everything else we needed to know about our stay at this property.”

“We were in town for the Lone Star Rally and this place was fantastic! It was close to the beach with a great view. The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the 6 couples we had to have their own space with room to spare. It was close enough to both the Seawall and the Strand. The gated community was a bonus for us since we had several motorcycles with us and it was nice to have that added security. The communication with Airbnb and the management personnel was spot on. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this spot to others wanting to have a large gathering!”
