“Our stay was excellent. We really enjoyed the place, and everything was beautiful and comfortable. The only thing we would recommend improving is the temperature on the second floor, as it was quite hot. Other than that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Stayed for a Sunday night, and wanted a place close to the beach and not that far from downtown, the pier and our favorite putt putt place - Magic Carpet and that could accompany six (grandma, uncle, wife, husband and 2 kids (18 & 13)) without being too expensive... This place was clean and cozy with enough room for all of us. Beds were comfortable and the bunk beds were better than I thought they were going to be though the steps to the top bunk was a little hard on the feet. The view of the beach was great and the walk to the beach was easy. Only downside was one of the neighbors was having a party and being loud, but not worth complaining about, and maybe coincidence being there when we were. Shampoo is provided, but the soap was odd, so you may want to bring your own. Other than that, one of the better places we've stayed in our all of our trips to Galveston. Is Grandma picky, and enjoyed her stay. Yes. Would we stay again. Yes. Do we recommend the place. Yes.”

“Celebrated my birthday here and I didn’t wanna leave! The location truly is perfect. It’s right on the beach and minutes away from tons of stuff. The beach was not crowded at all and the neighbors were very friendly. The host were also very accommodating of the baby in our group. I will absolutely be back!”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location was great, and the home had plenty of space with comfortable beds. Nice beach access. Decor is cute, bathrooms are nice & lots of board games. One listing picture was inaccurate- view is blocked by a new build. Lots of stairs. Towels & dinner plates limited for a larger group, & several door locks were difficult to use. The host did offer maintenance. But the locks should be updated for future guests. Bathrooms nice but bring your soap and shampoo. The kitchen was nice; lacking staples like salt/ pepper, & cookware and cutting boards very worn. Knives were dull. Only one paper towel roll. Laundry nice with some detergent. Dish pods supplied. The porches were a nice feature, but the furniture was old & torn, & the cushions were soaked thru & unusable because the wet terrible smell. Grill good addition but worn. The home has great potential, but some attention & better stocking would improve the experience. It’s priced fairly (July ‘26)”

“Great location right near a walk on beach access. House was great and well cared for inside. Very clean. Beautiful master shower. Lots of space, way more than we needed as a family of 4. In hindsight, all the stairs outside and inside were not ideal for a family with a toddler, but that was my fault for not considering that aspect. Luckily there was a baby gate. There was also a highchair, which was a nice touch that we did not expect. Kitchen could use some more utensils. As described, the house has no “extras”. Be sure to pack your own cooking spices, beach toys, beach towels, etc.”

We love the open kitchen and living room, perfect for playing card and board games! We also love the sleeping arrangements for the adults and kids and how easy and safe it is to walk to the beach! We are hoping to make this an annual trip!”

“Lovely home, the pictures don’t do it justice. Only issues we had was that the house was unlocked and front door did not lock, maintenance came quickly. If staying for longer than 1-2 days, I would being extra bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.”

A least let people know they need to bring soap, shampoo, etc. Had to go to store to stock up for the stay. Pretty dang chicnhy for the price.”

“Great location. Easy, walkable access to the beach, which was worth the lack of amenities in the house. The amenities that were provided were bare minimum. We had to make a run to Walmart for soap and shampoo. Being on the beach, one would expect to have beach towels at the Airbnb, but you have to go pick them up at a hardware store (about a 10 minute drive away). Even then, we didn’t have enough beach towels for my family. I requested more bath towels, but never received them.”

“the house was nice and convenient to the beach . this house rule is very strict and very unprofessional as rental property guest nearly have to all cleanup nearly everything in the house ,what is point of pay cleaning fee . i pay to use the service not as the cleaner , as the jobs the rental owner you clean up for next guest not us as the rental . house missing essential items like hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, no extra towel, cooking essentials is in poor condition. so if you plan to travel and cook some fresh seafood you caught there is not good spot to rent. if you have kid pr pregnant women not good spot to rent the stair is very high and deep require a lot of walking up and down even get to house still require walk up and down stairs to acess children room . the rail in balcony is falling so be watch out for kid cannot play or stay near that area.”
