“We had a great stay and truly enjoyed our time! The house was the perfect size for our group of 16, plenty of space for everyone. It was clean and well-kept. We did notice a few roaches during our stay, but given the home’s location right by the water, that was understandable. It seemed like they came in from outside, especially since we saw some near the pier as well. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Just a heads-up: there aren’t many stores nearby, so plan ahead and bring what you need!”

“A mouse was found in the room and it got into my shoe. For the next few days I was worried about whether another mouse would get into the shoe. Worry about rats destroying food. This is my third time staying at this place. The first two times were good. This time it made me feel bad. I contacted the landlord, who responded quickly and said he would do pest control. Hope they will take care of it and not affect the experience of other guests.”

“This was a great house. Plenty of room, privacy, and space for large families. The location is beautiful. We caught a lot of fish, kayaked around the bay, and walked to the beach. The home is very private and quiet. The space was perfect for our family. The dock was perfect for fishing and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for an extended stay at a place you can fish all day, everyday.”

“everything was great, home had alot of full size beds and space. kitchen was very big and spaces, had a lot of cooking supplies to use. the patios frm top to bottom is phenomenal. Had boat keys couldn't find the boat, but didn't need it cuz of the ocean view and dock that was provided in the back. beautiful sunset viewing and sunrise. No complaints......other than the toilet handle broke, garage door on right side is off the tracks so doesn't open, but again enjoy ourselves very much...highly recommend”

“This is a complicated review. Sam was very responsive, and when we saw that the pool was half empty and dirty, he sent someone to fix it immediately. However, I feel like the house needs to be closed down for severe maintenance. Blinds were broken, mold in windows, light bulbs were out, balconies did not feel safe, some roaches (the small dirty, not the seasonal Texas ones), dishes were sticky, floors were dirty and sticky, banisters appeared dirty, pool was not maintained, and house had an odor. The house has great potential. It almost feels like the owner may own a few houses and has a cleaning crew but never goes to the house himself. The cleaning crew seems like they only do the bare minimum. So the all that being said, we all slept well and the house is overall comfortable. It was not worth the money we paid. We splurged to celebrate a birthday, and would never have spent this much. It was very disappointing for the money.”

“Everything is a little bit older than what's shown in the picture. But, I am not saying its bad, just little bit older. A lot of mosquitoes outside you should prepare something for that. And need to change some of the mattresses. By the way, We had really good time, specially You can see the most beautiful sunset in Galveston. Fishing , kayaking and bbq!! We already missed here.”

“Guests be aware of garage door is broken on the left side, car can’t park inside. We had to call twice for the plumbing problems - both water closets can’t flushing and the shower head handle (open/close) has broken. Other than that, the house is a nice place for families gathering, fishing etc.”
