“Great stay”

“Loved the house and location. The back fence does need major repairs, but everything else was great! I would definitely book this house again in the future.”

“This place was perfect for our weekend. Close to the Boardwalk and lots of restaurants. Plenty of beds to sleep comfortably. Bathrooms were very nice size. Kitchen stocked with any thing you need. Jessica was a very attentive host! I would definitely stay here again.”

“Was a great neighborhood, peaceful and pretty! The town of kemah was great an everything was all like 5-10mins away. The house was spacious and had all we needed!”

“The location of this place is great! Close to restaurants and Kemah Boardwalk. Target is right around corner! Gas station as well. Very convenient location. Check in was easy, a little late for a check in time but it is noted on the listing. If you want to check in early, it is extra, if available. The place is as pictured and described. A few issues with the AC cooling the 2nd floor level where 2 bedrooms are located. The ceiling fans in those rooms appear to have electrical issues but do work, kind of. Requested floor fans for the two rooms that are on the second floor on the first day, when we checked in and did not receive them until 9:30pm the next night. No one contacted me to update me on the status of the delivery. I had to reach out a few times for an update. Other than that, they do always reply. TVs in the 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor would have been nice as well as extra blankets. We couldn’t find any and the sheets on the beds were thin. Overall decent place to stay.”

“Jessica‘s place felt like home and met my family’s needs. Within walking distance to local restaurants in Kemah and shopping centers very close to the boardwalk less than 10 minutes to everything. The kids had fun at the park and even did a little bit of fishing.Will definitely come back here again.”

“We just had a few issues with the place. Got locked outside because sliding door is very hard to open and the metal bar to lock door falls when you try to get it closed. And we had a couple roaches that flew at us in living and kitchen. Otherwise we loved it.”

“This house is much bigger on the inside than it looks outside. Plenty of room and the kids loved the king bed/ bunk bed room with the large tv. Located close to everything!”

“We had a great stay. It was a nice cozy place. The only issue was locking the back door. The door itself uses a bar that gets stuck. But all in all it was a great place for us to stay and has a lot of space.”

“We traveled 1000 miles to get my dog a rare procedure only offered in the South Houston area and this house was the perfect place for us to relax and for her to recover through surgery! There is a fenced yard that gave us enough of our own private outside space to feel comfortable, even though the neighbors were close. The place was clean, but not so pristine that we felt like we couldn't touch/use things. This would be a great place for a large group or family with kids. Even just for three adults and a 15 year old pup, we had plenty of space, linens, and amenities. The kitchen was FULLY stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and utensils and there were more pillows/blankets/towels than we could ever need. Access to laundry and the dishwasher made our extended stay feel like home and was half the cost of a pet-friendly hotel room in the area. Jessica was kind and helpful but stayed out of our hair (in the nicest way possible) and the whole home truly felt like ours. Highly recommend!”

“The house was in a nice location. The driveway was a little smaller than expected. Can fit about 2 cars but the neighbors didn’t seem upset about street parking there. The house was for the most part very clean. We did see a pretty massive cockroach. Also the dishwasher wasn’t functioning, however that wasn’t a huge deal for us as we were only staying one night. Minus the cockroach and the non working dishwasher the stay was great!”

“We loved this little place! The separate living spaces was great for letting the kid have his own space and allowing us to have ours. There were so many nice people in the neighborhood and restaurants within a short distance. Definitely would stay again.”

“The whole inside hvac system and ductwork needs to be cleaned and get rid of the mildew and mold in the hvac closet and vents If I had not brought my allergy meds I could not have stayed there! Very disappointed”

“Nice house and very cozy feel. I did not like all the cleaning rules when I have to pay a cleaning fee. We were expected to clear out all the trash cans, take the trash out to the trash cans outside, leave everything the way it was when we got there, pile all the towels, it seemed like a lot and on vacation.”

“There is no window shade in the kitchen. The multi-story building behind the back yard has multiple windows that look into the kitchen, not really a safe option for people in their PJ's at night. The patio door does not lock. There is a bar that is supposed to be able to keep the door closed but it is broken where it attached to wall. The faucet in the kitchen sink is loose on the counter (rotates) and the upper section of faucet will not rotate between the two halves of the sink. This could result in severe water leak below sink. Fridge water filter needs to be replaced. Home is good for dogs, but back yard is small. I have photos and videos of these items if you want to have them for the maintenance team.”
