“We had a great time! It was an amazing location right by the beach. The kids loved being close enough to walk to the beach and also having the option to cool off in the pool. We had an issue the first night but it was very quickly taken care of by the hosts. There was a few things we wished would have been cleaned a tad bit better and the shower water took a bit of getting used to. However, overall it was a perfect getaway with both fun and relaxation!! ”

“Beautiful home. Spacious with convenience items we needed to cook as we chose to. Comfortable beds really enjoyed the swimming pool on the property. We had little ones and it was more convenient than beach. A comfortable walking distance to the beach is five minutes from home”

“This was a great property for our stay in TX. Lots of couch room, beds and nice kitchen. The large patio had plenty of seating and good view of the neighborhood. The only thing we had an issue with was the front door handle. It was difficult to lock and the inside handle felt like it was loose. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay! ”

“The property is well kept and decorated well. Although our party of two was fine for us we will try in the future to bring our extended family. The place will be great for that. Near the beach for the kids and close to the jetty for fishing.”

“First the good. This is a big house with a lot of bedrooms -- you get a lot of value for your money. It is few blocks walk from the sandy beach as well as the Surfside jetty. Host was friendly and communicative. Now the not so good. House had an overpowering smell of bleach inside like had just been washed with pure bleach. Once that smell faded the house had a funky stale odor. I believe it was stale cigarette smoke. Was only there a couple of days but the smell got into all my clothes that I brought and everything had to be washed to remove the smell. Was a cute, pretty house, but the funky smell was tough to take for a non-smoker. There were a couple of maintenance issues like main bedroom light burned out, bath trim, and shower spout coming off in main bathroom. Also concrete slab below was covered in muddy tire, foot, and dog prints. Finally, the non-negotiable 4:00 pm check-in is not good - but just be aware that your day at the beach has to start night before.”

“In general, this is a great house, only thing we felt is not very good is the tasty of the water, maybe the whole area water is tasted like that, i don't how to describe it, like rusted? or not very clean? Anyway, we used all bottle waters for dinning and drinking when we stay there. We didn't drink it even after we boiled it.”

There was plenty of room for our extended family; and the multiple full bathrooms made cleaning up after a day at the beach a breeze. Communication was equally impressive with swift responses to any messages, and clear and concise instructions regarding check-in and check-out. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and hope to return soon.”
