“The house was really pretty. Beautifully appointed and very well decorated. I would definitely stay here again! A few things to note: - Upstairs bunk room is on the upstairs landing area, without a door (fine for kids! but adults may want more privacy if staying in that area?) - All of the fun beach stuff that's available is very very weathered. Would probably make sense for them to find a housekeeping service that rinses everything down to keep it in better condition. - Rooms and entire house are super comfortable! Great decor! - Beautiful kitchen and living room - Tipsy Turtle is a cute beach lunch spot that's walkable We loved our stay. Thank you, Sarah! Your home is fab.”

“This beach house is perfect. It's clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is fabulous. It has everything you need to feed and entertain a large family. The furniture is super comfortable, plenty of seating and the beds are excellent. It is pet-friendly as well. I've been going to Galveston for 65 years. I've owned beach houses there. This one takes first place for large family gatherings. Everyone in our family had a fabulous time and loved the house. We made lots of new memories and we will be back. ”

“Our family of 5 stayed for spring break. The house was just as pictured, more space than we needed, but the proximity to the beach was well worth it paying for the extra space. Everything was very clearly labeled, kitchen and bathrooms were stocked as described, and beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is super quiet, but friendly with people out walking/running the 1.5mi loop that’s in the neighborhood. The beach was easily accessible, and it wasn’t too far to drive downtown for meals or groceries. We would absolutely stay here again!”

“This was a fantastic home! It was beautiful and spacious with all the amenities we needed. Everything had clear instructions, and kitchen was fully stocked so we could easily cook dinner. The host was very kind and super responsive. LOVED that we could walk right to the beach from the house and it was not a crowded part of the beach. Home has convenient outdoor shower for rinsing off sand and beach towels for use. Only thing to note is this is NOT 5 bedrooms, as the listing said. It is 4 bedrooms with an extra living space that has bunks. We were able to make it work, so no complaints but if privacy is needed for the 5th bed area, wanted to share this detail. Our family had a fantastic visit staying here and will definitely return!!”

“Great location, quiet and peaceful. We had a bit of an adventure. Due to inclement weather, our stay was a little different than what we had planned. Along with the rest of Galveston, the power was out for some time. The house was cozy and we had fun. There are puzzles and games. However, all of the puzzles we found were a bit challenging. Sarah was super friendly and answered any questions we had. We would like to come and visit again.”

“Rent for a staff retreat and it was INCREDIBLE!!! My staff and I were very impressed. Sarah was very responsive especially since I had trouble getting in the lockbox stay connected until we got in. “The house was great. Everything was clean and in good condition. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed. The grill was clean and worked very well. The location was amazing—under 5-minute walk with a small child to get right on the beach. The AC was great and fast to cool down. There were also whisper-quiet ceiling fans to keep the air flowing. We loved spending mornings sipping coffee on the west-facing porch with pleasant sea breezes and great shade. This house gave us the extended-family beach getaway we dreamed of!”
