We enjoyed early morning coffee on the porch overlooking the canal, fishing and crabbing off the dock, and cooling off in the cowboy pool in the evenings. Highly recommend!”

“My family & I stayed at the Jamaica Beach property by the Galveston Seawall for a short weekend. It was an absolute treat! The home matched the amenities listed and pictures down to the last detail. We found everything to our liking and our stay was clean & comfortable. We utilized the cowboy pool in the evening which was a great opportunity to refresh from the summer heat and later on at night we made s’mores by the fireplace outside. That morning we also utilized the master grill and had a great time fishing by the dock that comes with the home. The home is conveniently close to a lot of attractions and the host offered a guide and great discounts on our brief stay there. The response time for any questions or inquiries we had were quick and efficient and the host was friendly, professional, and courteous throughout our interactions. Highly recommend to bring insect repellent & lots of sunscreen lotion if you’re not use to the Texas outdoors. Looking forward to our next stay!”

“A beautiful beach home. Lots to do in the area, about 30min from Galveston so still drivable. The home was clean, spacious enough for the 6 of us to enjoy hanging out in the living room and cooking breakfast. Something to note: there is only one shower in the home. The home is relaxing and I’d truly recommend it to anyone!”

“Great vacation spot! My husband and I booked this place so we could enjoy some fishing right in the backyard, which was such a fun and relaxing perk. The fenced-in yard was perfect for bringing our dogs along, and we really appreciated that they allowed all three of them with just a small pet fee. It made the trip even better being able to have the whole family with us! 🐾🎣 One thing to note is that the king beds are located upstairs, which can be a little difficult to get to because of the spiral staircase and the steep stairs. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.”

“We loved this little cabin! My husband, our 2 preteen boys, and my parents all stayed at this cabin for a weekend getaway and really enjoyed this property. The home is older, but well kept. The kitchen was nicely stocked - I would recommend bringing your own spices and oil - but there was a crockpot, large soup pot, mixing bowls, skillets, coffee maker, blender, french press, tupperware, and plenty of plates, cups, and flatware. The inside of the home was clean and the outside well kept. My boys really enjoyed the fire pit (we roasted smores), the cowboy pool (they took a cold plunge for a 20 bribe), and the indoor game room. I did not see photos of the game room upon booking so I will describe it. There is an L-shaped couch, flatscreen hung on the wall (we watched the UFC fight), and foosball table. The game room is connected to a bathroom with shower and a laundry area. I highly recommend this cabin and this area in general. Jamaica Beach was nice and quiet. ”

My only small complaint is that the “2.5 baths” is one normal restroom(shower and toilet), one restroom with only a toilet, and an outside shower.”

“This was a last-minute rental for us, and it was so cute! We always get a beach house in Jamaica beach, so we are very familiar with the area. This rental was the first one that did not have as many amenities that we are used to with our Airbnb's (no dishwasher, no extra blankets, no coffee machine, no full-size shampoo/conditioner/body washes, no kayaks). The cowboy pool was a super cute idea, but our kiddos didn't use it because they said it was too cold. The main issue was the decking outside. There are three different level changes when walking around, and there are boards that are lifted up. Everyone in our party kept tripping and several people lost their footing and almost went into the water. Overall, it was a super cute house that served its purpose for our little vacay. :)”

“I spent weekend at the Crab Shack home, and it was just as described. Home was clean, kitchen was well-stocked. Communication with the host was easy and she graciously answered any questions or concerns. The location was perfect. My teenagers enjoyed fishing off the back boat deck. We were blessed with great weather and able to enjoy the spacious deck (no mosquitos during our stay). I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay at Jamaica Beach. I will definitely book again.”

“Easy check-in process. Property was clean, well kept, and equiped with essentials. Cowboy pool was small, but refreshing. Good access to wifi and streaming services. Fishing area on back deck. The only issue was the ladder/stairs to get to the 3rd floor bedrooms was a little difficult to navigate. Wouldn't recommend for people with mobility issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”
