“Our family (15 of us) traveled to Onalaska and had the best time. The location of this home is perfect. The house is set up wonderfully for large groups. Many great restaurants, activities, and stores nearby. The beds were super comfy - I actually woke up without back pain. Safety was great off the back deck, stairs had a latched gate. Stairs in the house did have a door so you could close it to keep kids away but the doorknob was broken, we had to leave a chair in front of it. An additional gate available to use would be helpful. Kitchen was fully stocked as far as dishware, pots and pans - actually almost TOO much. Maintenance of the house is needed for a few things such as a few outlets not working, living room fans we couldn't reach the string to turn on, older carpet, more thorough cleaning needed, etc. The plumbing also needs some work - the kitchen sink, the big bathtub - just maintenance expected with the age of the home. Overall, we LOVED it! Beautiful property!”

“The property is in a beautiful location with plenty of space for a large group, which we really appreciated. The scenery by the lake was lovely and peaceful - perfect for relaxing. However, there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable. The outdoor furniture was old and a few chairs were breaking, which made it hard to sit outside comfortably. The deck also had some holes, which felt unsafe, especially for kids near the water. We found some dirty dishes upon arrival, and there were TV issues - the living room remote was missing, and the upstairs TV didn't play anything. Overall, the place has great potential because of the space and location, but it definitely needs some maintenance and attention to detail to make it a better experience and worth the price.”

“This could be an amazing property! There are so many great things...great lake, pool, quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds. But there are even more negatives. There was no key in the lockbox when we arrived. The railing up to the house is loose. All of the living room/kitchen chairs are covered in stains as is the ceiling. All patio furniture is broken/unusable. The flooring by the patio doors is coming apart. There's a hole in the wall of the primary bedroom. There is no seating by pool and the Adirondack chairs are all broken. The pier has lots of broken boards and nails sticking out! I had specifically reached out about the pier before we booked. I noticed other reviews mentioned the same concerns. I was assured that all repairs were made-total lie. I would NOT recommend anyone stay here until you are shown proof that all of these issues are dealt with.”
