“Had a great stay, beautiful ocean front. The house was big and able to accommodate all of us with enough space for our 2 dogs. There is some wear and tear but we just cared about being close to the beach. The kitchen is spacious which is probably the room we used the most. Note, the fridge will take time to cool so be careful not to fill it too fast. The master bedroom bed felt a little uncomfortable but there were enough rooms that we just switched to a different room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“The host was very easy to talk to. The home met our needs. My 17 yr old grandson loved it so much that he started envisioning a party for himself. We were on the beach sand. Plenty of refrigeration2 refrigerators and wine cooler. Lots of stairs to climb. Definitely plenty of ares to sleep. Worth another stay”

“This home was the perfect design for our extended family vacation. Only 9 of us slept in the home itself, but a total of 16 used the home for meals and quality time during the day. You cannot beat the easy access to the beach, waking up to the sounds of the waves, and quiet/serene space. The kitchen was exactly what we needed for our large family and the large deck gave our little kids the sense of some freedom to run and play while giving their parents peace of mind. Some aspects of the home were slightly worn, likely due to it being a beach front property with high humidity, but that did not bother us at all. We also had not realized that people could drive their vehicles and overnight camp in that part of the beach, but knowing this information would not have changed our mind to reserve this place since it met our needs so well. We had everything we needed and, when in doubt, we could easily ask someone via text with a reply in moments. They also allowed multiple pets, which is less common and very much appreciated by this family that treats their pets like their humans! We had a great time and were very pleased we picked this place. It is an excellent option for large group vacations!”

“The house was in a beautiful location and great for gathering with friends. Would give a higher review but there were several water leaks in the house during a rain. A couple of the rooms had water dripping from the ceiling onto beds. Looking at the ceiling damage it was apparent that the leaks were not new. Owner offered to have maintenance come but rain was over so we declined. Also, there were no winter blankets available during cold weather. We also saw a few large water ups and roaches.”

“This place was an excellent place to host our girls weekend. Private bedrooms but an open concept kitchen-dining-living area. The dining room table was the best! Right on the beach, fire pit, lots of deck time…so great! We did experience rain while we were there and witnessed several leaks (hence a review less than 5 stars). One leak was in the bedroom. Sam was very responsive and offered to send maintenance out but we were able to use towels and deal with it. The house just needs a little TLC as it seems like it has been a beach home for a while. Overall, we loved our stay and appreciated the host being ready to help us as he could. Thank you for a great time on Galveston.”

“This property has several important assets. First of all, it really is ON THE BEACH. So easy to have kids in and out of the house on and off of the beach all day. Second great asset is spacious. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have a space for their crew. Third great asset is lots of table space. We had a group of 7 adults and 10 children. Plenty of beds. My suggestion would be replace the room with one double bunk with a queen bed. Plumbing etc could use a bit of stability. But overall, we had a fantastic stay. Nice weather helped.”
