“Excelente”

“Stay was great! Beach, restaurants and attractions are in a close radius.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this location”

“House had everything we needed for an overnight stay.”

“it was very cozy and location was very convenient”

“Bones, not chandeliers — and that’s okay. This place won’t wine-and-dine you, but it will give you a comfy basecamp, useful kitchen tools, a lovely bathroom, and quick access to Galveston fun. Loved that the bathroom was clean, functional, and not stingy on hot water. I have two teenage girls, it didn't run out. Magic, I swear. We liked that the laundry unit was in the bathroom. We came for the pier and shells, stayed for the convenience, and left with a story (and a hermit crab we did not mean to adopt). Overall rating: 4/5 stars — solid value, quirky charm, and worth it if you’re after affordability and location over luxury. I'm a simple person, so that worked for me and the family. Good for a budget-conscious family trip who don’t mind a little simplicity. Would stay again? Yes — but we’ll check our pockets for unexpected crustaceans next time. Welcome to the family Hermy.”

“Great place definitely recommend”

“Great house perfect for us!”

“Very clean property! Beds firm but not uncomfortable. Plenty of room!!”

“Very convenient”

“The cutest house ever!”

“Very clean nice just a couple blocks from beach very nice”

“Only stayed one night, but it was worth it. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The room with the bunk beds, the air didn’t properly flow, so it was uncomfortable in that room. Overall enjoyed our stay! Would book again if needed!”

“Everything was easy to access they were some trash and a lot of dust and some questionable stains that made us a little bit uncomfortable. But the host was very responsive.”

“There was several things broken or not working properly (the host was notified of each issue to ensure we were not held responsible for those things). We spent our first night trying to kill a rat that was roaming around inside the house and we also cleaned up a little more with household cleaning supplies we went and bought. Household necessities were not present like a broom BUT they did bring one over once we asked for one. There was confusion about the parking. In house rules link that was sent to us it clearly stated that downstairs renters (us) accommodates 2 cars in driveway and upstairs renters accommodates 3 cars in the street. We left and came back to 3 cars in the driveway (upstairs renters). When I messaged host about it they stated the upstairs renters had the right to be there. The upstairs renters were kind enough to move their cars anyway since we had small children with us. I will say the host was very responsive to each message we sent to them.”

“Nice older place to stay, ac worked great, enjoyed the backyard. However there was only one small pot and one small pan with lids that didn’t match and didn’t have spare linens for the couch bed. Overall not a good place for the price I paid”

“Took off a star for the septic overflowing in the middle of the backyard. You couldn’t enjoy back there because of the smell & kids couldn’t play back there. Just FYI - this is only for the bottom floor as the top floor is a separate rental. House was cute, but small. It was only for 1 night, so it wasn’t a huge deal to us. They supplied coffee but no coffee cups, etc. ”
