“Great place to stay if you are shopping at the Strand or going on a cruise. Very close to all the shops and restaurants The Strand has to offer and very close to the beach! We stayed there the night before our cruise and it was great!”

“This place is in great location, but I will caution that you should know which port you should be at. The Royal Carribean port was not walking distance from the house, but this is my fault not the location itself. The place itself is great, the king bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. My adult kids were not crazy about the triple bunkbed as they felt the top two tiers were not too stable for their liking. But I think that was more on their phobias. As others have mentioned the door does not feel very secure but we had no safety issues. There is no ceilings in the room as mentioned, but if you planned ahead and brought a sleep mask and earplugs then you will be fine. I would definitely stay here again, thank you!”

“The flat was easy to find, clean and supplied basic amenities along with kitchen utensils. Make sure to bring coffee supplies, bottled water and anything else you might need to spice up your cooking, as there are not many extras available. The location is a block or two away from where main area of The Strand starts.”

“My group of 6 had such a fun 1 night stay at this super cute little space. Everything was as described and we had a great time walking around The Strand and just hanging out! The only negative was the family above us were very noisy and we could hear every little thing. Their children were running all around upstairs throughout the night and again beginning around 6 am until we finally just had to get up and out around 8 (and that’s not when the banging and craziness stopped that’s just when we had to finally get out of the house for a bit to get away from the noise) So as far as insulation and noise control it is not the best. That is of course Not the fault of the host, at all. I still gave all 5 stars because the airbnb itself is great, just as described, has incredibly attentive hosts and we would recommend if you’re looking for a cute little space to stay and enjoy Galveston!”

“Great trip for the YAGA Chili and Beer Fest”

“This was a cute place right in downtown Galveston! The arcade and foosball was a great activity for everyone to enjoy. The living room and kitchen was spacious and clean with many appliances available to use. The bathroom was a little tight for 6 adults to use, but it still was manageable and functioning properly. The rooms were cute, but there are no ceilings for the room so privacy between rooms is minimal. I also noticed that the triple bunk bed was partly held together with duct tape, but we had no issues with the integrity throughout the night. This may be my fault but I slept on the very bottom bunk bed and felt a little claustrophobic with the amount of space given to sleep. Overall it is a good place to stay, especially if you are going on a cruise out of Galveston. It is literally a 6 minute walk from the bnb to the cruise terminal. I would rate this Air bnb a solid 8/10”

“We enjoyed our stay. My son really liked the arcade. The location is great, five minutes walk to the Railroad Museum, coffee shops and restaurants. About a ten minutes drive to the Moody Mansion/Children's museum, Bishop's Palace, and the Seawall. And finally about 15 minutes to the Moody Gardens. There is lots to see and do.Great communication with the host, quick response time and provided all information needed.Great Location in Downtown Galveston to walk around.Things to note:The Terminator arcade game doesn't work due to the wiring at the base of the guns which it's exposed and coming apart. The other arcades do work just fine.There are lots of creaks and noises all the time (it's an older building so this can be expected). The front door is hard to open because it sticks on the concrete.You can hear people going up/down the stairs and walking about the unit upstairs You can hear people walking by outside as well.The shower does shows some discoloration on the sealant around the bottom. There isn't a washer/dryer available in the unit.To get to the trash bins, you go out the patio gate and through the second gate (past the other apartments) to the back alley, there you will find the dark green trash bins.Parking: We were able to park right out front.There is a sign that says "2 hour parking 9am to 6pm" but we didn't have an issue, we were out the second day until the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.”

“This conveniently located former shop space, now two bedroom apartment with patio, was a perfect getaway in Galveston for our family. Walking distance to The Strand, the Railroad Museum, Fisherman's Wharf and much more. By car the location gave quick access to Broadway and Seawall. Inside we were comfortable with all the necessities of home with a furnished kitchen, comfy living room, two bedrooms and a game room for family foosball tournaments. We loved the back patio with the firepit, where we made some great memories. Russell was an excellent host and provided great information and responded in good time anytime we had a question. We will be back for sure.”
