The house has a warm, cozy, and peaceful feel that made our stay very relaxing. The home is clearly well-loved, from the flooring and kitchen to the exterior. While some of the furnishings, such as the beds, show signs of being well used over the years, the home has a welcoming charm that made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Jessica was an outstanding host. She was always professional, quick to respond, and very proactive in checking on us to make sure everything was going well. Her communication, kindness, and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable, and we truly appreciated how responsive she was whenever we needed anything.”

This review is about the house and things about our stay. The experience and level of expectations are different for everyone. This house was pet friendly beach house and it is understandable that the conditions of the furniture and floors are worn or not as clean. Air vents are rusty, have a layer of dust, and possibly mold. The house needs a deep clean overall. Some hand towels had a mildew smell that we had to wash. In one of the bedrooms sheets were washed by us as well. There was a body odor smell on the sheets. The washing machine and dryer are old but got the job done. One of the sinks had a clog and the host quickly fixed. The internet connection was bad. There was better connection outside. The kitchen was well loved. Lots of dishes, cups, and utensils for everyone. Great location. Walking distance to beach. Overall good stay.”

“Such a wonderful time for my whole family to be together. We loved the quick, close walk to the beach with 5 young children. Everyone had a choice of bedrooms and the kitchen made it easy for us to have all our meals right there. We did go to a fun restaurant the last night but went right back to the home. The hosts were amazing answering all of my many question before our arrival. I have one suggestion on the parking… the cars had to be in the sun because the tables placed in the center made it impossible to pull under the home. The photos advertised show them off to the side. That would make it more comfortable for parking if you could truly pull in under the home for shade. And take mosquito spray! We were eaten alive when we ventured below the home to access the beach. Mosquitoes were expected of course, but they enjoyed us for sure! The wildlife was fun… watch for coyotes, rabbits, huge pelicans and other birds! Truly the trip I dreamed of having! Thank you for such a perfect place.”

The house definitely needs some TLC - run down inside & out, weak flooring in many places, a broken deck chair that should be removed before somebody hurts themselves. We had a group of 10, and it had plenty of space and beds for everyone to feel comfortable. It is a bit far from restaurants and activities, but it helps keep the beach crowded. The large kitchen and open concept to the dining rooms and living room provided ample space for us to enjoy our time together. Pros: The neighborhood was extremely quiet The home has plenty of seating and sleeping space, making it great for large groups Jessica was extremely responsive and friendly Location to beach If maintenance is needed they were responsive and timely Cons: the house sways excessively in the winds Water damage to flooring Lower kitchen cabinets are dirty as were most of the dishes in them (upper cabinets were very clean) Metal bunks squeak and aren’t real sturdy No ceiling fan in Queen/triple bunk room Both doors upstairs to balcony stick pretty bad (resulted in a kid locked out and a medical emergency) Flooring throughout needs some TLC Overall, good home for large groups with amazing views and beach access!”

The kitchen is nice as well and there is a large dining room table. The beds were super comfortable too. Unfortunately the house had four tvs and none of them worked. We talked with management, they were very responsive, although we were never able to get them to work. Other than the television situation, which was definitely disappointing, our time at the house was very nice.”

The location is pretty secluded as listed and the view of the water and access to the beach was perfect The house slept our group of 18 with no issues and everything was in working order. The house had more wear and tear than the photos indicated and could use some tlc on the flooring and paint. I appreciated the gate at the top of the stairs making it feel safer will little kids running around.”

“The home location was beautiful & peaceful. Jessica was a very nice lady. She was responsive to any & all questions. The house needs some maintenance. The floors are soft in a lot of areas and look as if they are going to cave in. When you first walk in the house there’s an area where the floor looks like it is going to fall in but a table has been placed in the area. You can actually feel the house sway when you’re in the upstairs bathrooms and on the deck. I tripped several times on the deck because it is uneven in spots. The stove was dirty and greasy from previous guess that cooked. There was a shortage of bath towels. The balcony doors upstairs had pad locks on them. I asked if there was a key for those doors. I was told yes the keys were there, was later told there was no guess access to the balconies upstairs. I feel this is a fire hazard. There is no TV in the master bedroom and the bed was uneven. My side was a lot higher than my husband’s side of the bed.”

“Honestly, this is a solid 3 star airbnb property. I'm by no means a wealthy person, but if you would never consider 3 star hotels, this place isn't for you. This place is definitely not for fancy people. I will say though, 1 of the 2 bedrooms downstairs is a strong 4 star room, but overall the place is 3 stars. Stay here is you are more MOTEL than HOTEL. Here's a quick Pros and Cons: PROs: • The view from the deck. CONs: • The first bad review of the deck was in November of 2022, almost three years later and the same issue has come up. We had little kids with us an several of them "stubbed" their toes on nails that were sticking up above the deck floor (with 1 child needing some lower-level medicare due to the blood coming out of her toe). I was surprised to see that this almost 3 year old review has still not been taken care of. Basically, just wear shoes on the deck. • Not an "ant problem" per-say, but there were ants upon arrival in the kitchen (not from food being left out).”

“The area was beautiful and comfortably fit our family of 11 people. There were a couple of areas that needed attention (floor in one of the bedrooms, nails sticking out on the deck and a shower didn’t drain well). Still an AMAZING place to check out!!”

“We had a wonderful time. Jessica’s place was very quiet and clean. We could walk to the beach and the access bridge was right outside the house. The only drawback was we couldn’t use the balconies attached to the second floor bedrooms that overlooked the beach. My guests were a little unhappy they couldn’t wake up and have coffee on the private patios. The roof and balcony appeared to have been damaged, (which caused the balconies to be blocked off & closed) possibly from Hurricane Beryl, but it was mostly an eyesore and not necessarily dangerous. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.”
