“Our group had a fantastic time at this beautiful and well-maintained house. The A/C was a lifesaver and kept the house incredibly comfortable throughout our stay. The clean bathrooms and spacious, fully-equipped kitchen were both major highlights. The common spaces are generous and easily accommodate a large group. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and found ample parking on the street across from the house. A minor point of feedback is related to parking: a heads-up in the house manual that the driveway blocks a public walkway would be a great addition, as we were ticketed. Other than that, we had a very pleasant and restful stay.”

“It was a great home in a great location! 🏠 The host Eric was very responsive and provided clear instructions. The house was clean, comfortable, and had most things we needed - except for shower supplies. One issue was that one of the bathroom doors wasn't locking, which was a bit of a problem with our large group. Despite that, we'd definitely recommend to friends!”

“This house was perfect for our girls trip. The house is beautifully done inside. They’ve taken an early 1900s house and kept its original beauty but also added so many modern touches. The location was perfect for enjoying the local restaurants and shopping in the area. The outside of the house is starting to look a little faded, so we weren’t sure what we were getting into but the moment we opened the door we were happily surprised. All of us agreed we would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area!”

“We booked this property for 1 night ahead of a cruise and the group adored this house and enjoyed the convenience of walking to dinner and to grab coffee. Some who stayed even walked to the royal caribbean port and actually were able to hoard before those of us who began ordering an uber at the same time time ”

“Our group of 11 stayed at this property the night b4 our cruise. We had 9 adults, a teenager and 1 child. The house took care of all of our needs. Everyone had their own bed and there was plenty of bathroom time for everyone. Great location, within walking distance to just about everything and the cruise port. Only thing that was a small issue was the road noise and sirens. The house is on a corner and apparently near either an ambulance service, police or fire station for we heard sirens several times. Other than that it was a perfect match!”

“The location seemed safe. HVAC zoned so it worked fine. Well stocked kitchen. Parking for one car and driveway, otherwise you had to fight for parking on the street. Equipped for babies, with a stair gate and highchair. Only one tv but it suited us. ”

“We only stayed one night as we were going on a cruise, but this was a great place for our 13-person group to get together and touch base before leaving for our cruise the next morning. Very roomy. The bed I slept in wasn't super comfortable but no one else seemed to complain about their rooms. The kids/teens in the group had fun in the bunk room that easily sleeps 8 people! It was nice to have one bedroom on the ground floor so the older people in the group didn't have to worry about the stairs. The check out to-do list was reasonable.”

If you’re familiar with Galveston the location was perfect, walked to the taco shop for breakfast a block over, walked to the bar 4 blocks away and the strand is about 7-8 blocks away. Loved this clean home, wonderful location, easy check in and out process, all beds were clean, and each room was decorated like the pictures!Would love to stay at this spot again! Perfect spot for the family before our cruise!”

“The parking was tricky and our code to the door didn’t work. However the owner was very quick to reply and made sure we got in ok. Excellent communication! Previous guests went a little rough on their property unfortunately (some minor fixes needed). But overall everyone had a great time.”

“The house was very clean and beautiful! They had enough kitchen utensils and pots/pans to cook a big dinner. There's only one TV in the entire house, to us was no big deal but maybe it matters to others. There were plenty of clean towels, and extra pillows and linens in every room. The host is super friendly and responsive! The bathrooms were nice and clean. The only thing is the house takes a while to cool but please note, the house is huge and historic! Overall, completely and totally will book again when we return!”

“This house was the perfect location for us the night before our Carnival Cruise. We ended up renting a car and it took all of 6 minutes for my dad to drop each group of folks off at the terminal. We even said we wished we booked it for the day we came back. It was super close to a downtown area with food and live music. We didn't get to go to the pier area while in town but would definitely drive down their if we're ever in Galveston again. Thank you all again for a wonderful stay!”

“Our stay at the pink door house was great. The house is spacious and held all of our party without any trouble. The only issue we had was with parking. The “driveway” is way too small for two cars and the people staying at the neighboring houses took the street parking in front of our house because they didn’t have parking either. Overall, I would stay here again. I even recommended it on my social media page to all my friends.”
