“House was great, it fit all of the guests. The house has everything you need if you are planning to cook. Just the walk to the beach was kind of long, renting a golf cart would've been the way to go.”

“Beautiful beach house and the hosts were very reliable and on the go 24/7. Only issue was that the key to the pier was missing and my friends and I couldn’t get on the jetskis due to that issue.”

“My family loved it! Enough beds, lots of space, lots of silverware, so so pretty! Sound travels easy tho, thin walls but no complaints. The foozeball table was missing the ball so we couldn’t use it but there was a puzzle we enjoyed. TVs worked. Great for people traveling with people who can’t climb stairs as there was multiple beds, a bathroom, and table downstairs. Overall great stay!”

“This was a very nice place with plenty of room for the whole family! The stairs are steep not really suitable for elderly or babies. If you have babies make sure to bring a baby gate. The downstairs does have a mildew smell, but just spray some febreeze and lysol and its managable. Also the downstairs game room does stay warmer than the rest of the house, not sure if the spilt unit was working properly. Love that the beach is in walking distance and was very clean. If you need to drive, there is nice clean sand parking area just a 30 second drive away. The upstairs deck is perfect for early morning coffee drinkers! We will definitely be booking with beach box for our next Galveston vacation.”

“We loved our stay. Of coarse we had issues but nothing I couldn’t fix myself. The floors were really dirty, our feet were so black within minutes. The bathroom was dirty(toilet, tub). Missing the ball to the fuss ball table. Like I said, if I would have let these things overwhelm me with madness, our stay wouldn’t have been AMAZING! My family had some individual issues but nothing that values a bad review. The host was on point! We will definitely be back.”

“Wonderful home & Quick walk to the beach.”

“We stayed at this house for 1 Saturday night. Check in process was simple and easy to get in. The house is spacious and has enough beds for our group (11 people). Everything was as expected, except the rooms on the first floor were not cool enough. Also, All four (4) big trash bins outside were completely too full, overflowing with garbage. It was obvious that these trash bins had been neglected so long before we arrived. We did inform both the host and StayBeachBox about this.”

“Overall had a great stay, with two nitpicks: One of the "bedrooms" (which was basically just the laundry room) was much warmer then the other bedrooms as it had no dedicated AC unit, just one in the "game room" next to it. We were provided with 2 box fans however they both rattled and shook terribly when turned on, even on the lowest setting, so we didn't end up using them. The locks in both the upstairs and downstairs bathroom don't work well, it's very easy to accidentally pull too hard on the door and open it when it is "locked" Other than that we enjoyed everything about our stay! Very nice location with about a 5 minute walk to the beach.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The house was really nice and clean. The whole family loved the Foosball table! My favorite was sitting on the porch swing listening to the water. The only problem that we had was that we did have a couple of older people with us that had trouble with the stairs because there are no hand rails to hold on to. It could also use a baby gate at the top of the stairs to make it a little easier for families with young children. Other than that, everything was great! We will definitely be booking with the host again.”

“Our stay at the Zachary house was a good one. It is within walking distance to the water but yet out of the busy town. We did have an issue with the hot water heater when we arrived but that was fixed the next morning. Be sure to read the What to Bring on your stay as there are no extra items in the house. Overall a great place to vacation!”

“very nice house and neighborhood however tho it did have a urine smell to it soon as you walk in & on the couch, the downstairs bathroom we didnt use at all because the shower was dirty the bathroom also had a Seward smell after running the water.. other than that everything else was amazing!!”

“Thank you for the warm welcome. The house is spacious and suitable for 15 people; however, when we arrived it was still dirty from the previous guests. We had to wait for the cleaning lady to arrive, which caused us to lose a lot of time, and we were unable to use the kitchen to prepare dinner for the children. Aside from this inconvenience, everything else was fine and we liked the house overall.”

“Great neighborhood: safe, quiet, dog friendly, nice big playground. Easy to walk/cycle in and very convenient to Beach Access. Palapa is a cool upstairs tiki bar with great food and friendly service. There’s also a convenience store at the marina for ice, etc. We were disappointed that the pool was closed during our stay in early October. The house accommodated us and our various guests just fine. We never had more than 6 adults, but you could sleep a lot of people in all the beds! A highlight is a private half bath attached to the master bedroom in addition to the two full baths. We were there 10 nights, so I appreciated having the W/D! A couple drawbacks are no towel bars or hooks in the bathrooms, and the vent hood was inoperable, a major inconvenience for people who cook a lot. It’s not posh, but very comfortable and convenient.”

“It’s a great place to stay in, the downstairs was a bit warmer than the rest of the rooms but overall great location to stay with family make sure to grab all the necessary supplies because it is 25-30 minute drive to Kroger/Walmart. If you have the opportunity to rent a golf cart do it! The walk to the beach is not that far it was just crossing the main road especially at night.”
